About
Rachael Chillingworth - BHSc (Herbal Medicine)

I’m a naturopathic herbalist based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, supporting people who want to feel more balanced, energised, and more like themselves again.
My approach is gentle, personalised, and focused on understanding the bigger picture — not just the symptoms you’re experiencing, but what may be contributing to them underneath the surface.
Many of the people I work with are navigating things like digestive issues, fatigue, inflammation, hormonal changes, autoimmune conditions, or simply feeling disconnected from their health and unsure where to start.
Together, we take the time to slow things down, connect the dots, and create a plan that feels supportive, realistic, and tailored to you.
My pathway into naturopathic and herbal medicine was shaped by my own experience with chronic illness.
After being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in childhood, I spent many years navigating treatment, remission, surgery, and recovery. That experience gave me a deep respect for the body’s resilience — and a personal understanding of how overwhelming and isolating ongoing health challenges can sometimes feel.
It also taught me the importance of feeling genuinely listened to and supported while moving through the healing process — something I now bring into the way I work with clients.
I hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Herbal Medicine) from Torrens University and am a member of the Naturopaths & Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA).
I have a particular interest in gut health, inflammation, and autoimmune conditions, with a strong focus on supporting the body through herbal medicine, nutrition, and sustainable lifestyle changes.
Consultations are always tailored to the individual, creating space for you to feel heard, understood, and supported — wherever you’re at in your health journey.
At the heart of my practice is a simple philosophy:
Work with the body, not against it.
Because when we support the body in the right way, healing often becomes less about pushing harder — and more about creating the conditions for the body to do what it’s designed to do.
